The Dominican Republic has twelve consulates general in the United States plus an Embassy in Washington. The largest by a distance is the Consulate in New York, which has opened four annex offices to take the pressure off.
Two things the official sources have wrong. The Boston consulate moved to Jamaica Plain in November 2023 and the Embassy still publishes the old address. The New York one is listed with an email on a domain that now hosts an online casino and receives no mail.
The jurisdiction is not settled either: only eleven of the country's fifty-two units have a published district, and Georgia appears in both Miami's and New Orleans's. The Chicago consulate publishes Miami's jurisdiction on its own website, copied across.
Of the fifteen most searched procedures, five are handled by no consulate at all: the e-Ticket, the most searched of the lot, the cédula, civil registry records, the apostille and police clearance.
And a geographical warning: the consulate «of Los Angeles» is in Glendale and the one «of New Jersey» is in Paterson. Each office runs its own diary: they are all listed under how to book.

And the Embassy?
The Embassy in Washington is not a consulate: it represents the Dominican State before the US Government. Its Consular Section does see people, but only from places with no consular mission.
